Great food, beer & service!!

Super friendly staff in quite atmosphere. Lobster bisque was great, creamy, full flavored with a hint of spice at the end. Fish tacos and poke tacos were tender but lacked flavor.

Good beer and good apps. Pleasant evening at the high-top tables with family.

One of my favorite places for a beer and food. Top Notch!

Service was good. Food was also good but, not especially noteworthy. The beer was surprisingly good with a decent selection albeit a fairly typical one (except maybe the blueberry blond). The Golden Ale was my favorite. Definitely worth a visit for lunch or dinner if you are in the area.

Worst customer service in Newport!!! Calamari fra Diavolo was so hot i couldn't even eat it. Sue told me tuff i ate too much. $50 later im still hungry. Thanks for the solid brew but your customer service was b/s. Im headed to Taco Bell.

It was OK. Stopped in for date night with my man.Menu was ridiculously large.asked for a booth they sat us at a table near the bathroom.it was not busy.waitress was average,she didn't mention specials etc.they have a basic gluten friendly menu which is nice but limited.if your a beer drinker it's a fantastic place.not cozy.not romantic.won't go back.way overpriced.

Awesome local spot in Newport! They have some really great beers made in house, plus you can sample all of them. Their food is wonderful, and they truly have something for everyone, including some great seafood dishes. Even their house-made blue cheese dressing will knock your socks off! Definitely a great place to grab a beer and a bite!

I, personally, was very impressed with the waitstaff at this establishment. I am not a big beer person and the waitress was very helpful in helping me find a beer that I liked. They also had really good food options and were accommodating to my dietary restrictions. The waitress came over and checked on us multiple times which was very helpful and she made great conversation. Definitely recommend.

Second time visiting. Good quality food. Great service even in these strange times. No regrets, and will return.

Four of us ate dinner here tonight. Fried whole clams, fish and chips and two baked stuffed sole dinners. All were quite pleased with the meals. Service was friendly and professional. Enjoyable meal on our first visit with friends that have eaten there often. Their comment was, "we've never had a bad meal here". We will be back.

Excellent ambience and the food was delicious. Our waitress offered excellent service and she was courteous, prompt and efficient. It was a pleasure to be served by her and I wish I had her name.

A last minute date night! We didn't make it past the appetizers. Just to many good selections. We tried a variety of appetizers and we were not disappointed. The nachos were some of best we have had. Hubby tried the beer sampler and found a beer he enjoyed. I did try the root beer float martini and i found it very strong. Overall the service was great. The food was good and the blueberry cheesecake dessert we shared was amazing. We will definitely be going back!!

Went for dinner recently, staff was very nice, food was very good, my wife had the Filet Mignon and it was really good. Beer was all their own brew, which was pretty good, a few other beer choices would have been nice. Otherwise we had a really nice relaxing dinner, no Newport crowds, we parked right in front for free, great local business, we will be back.

While the servers are very nice, the food is seriously lacking. Steak/scallops were bland and definitely frozen. Lobster bisque was a little on the sweet side. The kids fish and chips however were pretty decent. Maybe it had something to do with it being takeout and not dine-in, but still. $26 for steak and scallops wasn’t nearly worth it.

Great good and great service! Had a great choice of beers, their Golden Ale was good along with their blueberry!

Very good brews, nice atmosphere. Friendly bartenders, Newport is an awesome town.The description of each beer is right on, all of the samples in the flight were delicious.

Not sure how this place has a high rating, but it fooled us into coming that's for sure. For a brewery the beer was "meh" and there was a lack of options. I always finish my craft beer and I left half of my glass on the table, what a waste. Husband's prime rib was cold, and the seafood stuffed sole was chewy and overcooked. Not worth the time or money, even with the fast service.

Ate here today with my kids and grandson. Very happy. Clean, good beer, good food, and great service.

We got our meal to go. The food was very disappointing. We got the steak and scallops . I could not find the compound butter( feels like they got it fromThe frozen section) steak was way overcooked, scallop was very underwhelming, and the food was blend. Needless to says, I will never go back there again.

Great food, wonderful service, and amazing brews. Definitely a good pick for a party of 6 or more. The space works and the bar is fun.

Nice looking restaurant, the beer and the pretzels were delicious. The steak was bland as was the soup. The wait staff was courteous when they were there, but had a tendency to disappear for long periods.

Nice place, the Meatloaf was awesome, turkey dinner was great. They make many different kinds of there own beer which you can see the large tanks as you eat pretty cool.

Great place to go for a beer on a hot day, beer is very solid and the patio has a beautiful view. I like the APA the most, though the watermelon beer seemed to be popular at other tables.

Good food. Solid service. Nice environment. Had the Miso Salmon (cooked to perfection, just a little too sweet). Came with fried Spinach - what! It was fabulous!!! My friend had the Fish and Chips, not a morsel was left. I think he liked it.

Terrific service, great atmosphere, great menu, original beer and a nice selection of cocktails. Large restaurant, good for families too.

Coddington is AMAZING - we came here to get the stamp on our RI Brewers Guild Passport and it’s been our favorite place so far. Great food and GREAT beer. Don’t miss the Watermelon Ale.

Is a good place to go if it isn't high season (Friday, Saturday when everyone goes out for dinner). I don't know if it was the high volume of persons, but the serving size of the plates changed. Also, the bartender did not treat us so good. The waitress always treat you awesome. My final review this is a place to go when is not a high season. We had a bad experience to get seated yesterday, If you ask to modify to change the number of people that are going to seat with you, easily the the waiting time can change for 30 minutes to an hour.

Food and beer are good. Nothing making me want to come back tomorrow. Service was fine, i have never had baked cod with panko crumbs, sort of strange for me. I am used to butter and paprika/lemon. Sister in law said the coffee was excellent

Okay beer and disappointing service. The blueberry ale is fine, but nothing particularly special. We sat at the bar recently and were met with gruffness once they realized we were not going to drink pint after pint of beer. We went as a brewery stop on a birthday trip and requested the smaller size glasses of beer to enjoy which were available. Even though the bartender said the smaller size was available, his friendliness evaporated when we all requested that to order. Lower tab here equates to lower service. I’m not expecting any gasps here...this isn’t shocking, it’s more just a disappointing low-point of what was a fun trip out to the Newport area. It’s been one of the first places where I’ve felt punished for trying to drink responsibly. You can pass this on your next drive by.

It was great eating out on the new patio! We saw a beautiful sunset. Also the food was delicious as always.

Great service and good fish tacos. Lobster roll was good and beer also. The best was the key lime pie. I gave the waiter a hard time since I had been to key west for key lime pie but they did a great job and must try. I definitely recommend to try them.

For all you brewery folks in Newport there, this place is a 7 dollar Uber ride, and well, it's quaint and by all accounts shouldn't be as highly rated as it is, but sometimes you just wanna kick back with a 4 percent beer and watch some yankee baseball.

We love this place! The food is always delicious, excellent service and great beers! We love going here just the 2 of us or with the kids. I would definitely recommend!!!

We had an appetizer and sampler of beer. The beer was good, as was the food. There was only a few of us in the brewery as it was shortly after lunch time. The bartender was a really nice gentleman who provided us with some history of the area and recommendations on sight seeing. He definitely improved our experience, which unfortunately isn't common anymore.

Service was excellent ,staff did all they could to keep things as normal as possible. Food as always was amazing ..

I have been going here for about 3 years now. I can satly that the place has seen SIGNIFICANT improvement since then. All the beers are the best they've ever been and now is the best time to go. The food is also excellent, the scallops are a must have while there.
